Gold’s Gym Launches the Next Generation of Fitness Clubs

First phase of the equipment revamp to feature new and innovative digital equipment,  lifestyle management app, and a high-tech cycling studio

Gold’s Gym, a subsidiary of the Al Ahli Holding Group, is set to become the first gym chain in the UAE to offer cloud-based technology to consumers for fitness tracking and lifestyle management. With the relaunch of five of its fitness clubs in the UAE to include state-of-the-art TechnoGym equipment and a complete revamp of the indoor cycling studio, they now offer a complete digital solution to consumers and brings fitness into the digital age.

The equipment revamp in Al Barsha Mall, Etihad Mall, Al Musalla Tower, Al Wahda Mall, and Mazyad Mall is the first phase of this state-of-the-art equipment roll out with more to come in the coming year.

The announcement comes at an important time as Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, aims to make Dubai one of the world’s healthiest cities. Gold’s Gymis on track to support this important national initiative.

The digital equipment, which is also used across Olympic training facilities worldwide, will allow members to accurately track and monitor their performance with real-time information about their heart rate, power output, and more. Gold’s Gym will soon release its MyWellness smartphone app in partnership with TechnoGym where clients can seamlessly link the equipment with the app as well as track each of their workouts and progress overall.

The new cycling studio is driven by cloud-based technology, offering heart-pumping immersive classes. After each class, participants can view their progress, workout summary and body metrics. The popular fitness chain has also added bespoke cycling classes to the schedule, allowing for freestyle and themed-sessions. These cycling classes are all free for a member of Gold’s Gym and a trial session can be arranged by setting an appointment with the club.
